Question: What do you think of the cover of my just published book!?

Yes I would definately give it a second look!. I love the photograph!. I also like the fact that the cover is fairly simple!. I makes me want to know what more the book has to offer, as the cover isn't so busy and overwhelming!.

I may even buy it based on the cover, I enjoy doing that every so often!. Some of my favorite books I knew very little about!. It's fun that way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To be honest, I do not like the cover of the book!.

I hate the fact that I judge books by their cover, but if it stands out I will grab it off the shelves to read the summation!.

The picture is very nice, but the font that you chose does not compliment the cover and DOES NOT stand out!. I can barely read the title because of the text and colour!.

It's nice but it doesn't blow me away!.
Something about it seems too empty but not in an artistic way!. I think perhaps the title could do with being larger!.

If I were looking for a book of poetry and saw that I'd probably give it a look :) I like the title of the book!.

If I may make another observation - the description of the book is this:
"A book of poems that are an insight to the inner me!. They are my therapy, they are my heart!. "

That would NOT make me want to buy it!. Since I don't know WHO you are, I would not want to read poems about the inner you and (I'm just being honest) I don't care if they're your therapy or your heart!. As a reader I want to know how these poems will affect ME or why they should interest me!. I think you should re-write the description!. Maybe say something like "A look inside the mind and heart of a poet!. Thoughts on life and meaning!." or something of that nature!. I don't think you should refer to "me" in the description at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hmmm!.!.!. not really digging the title or type font, but I DO like the image!. If I had money to blow and was in a poetry mood, I might make purchase of it!. (But only after reading a little bit to see if I liked your style!. And judging from the amazon summary, no, I probably wouldn't like your style!. No offense!. I'm more of a Billy Collins, Charles Bukowski kind of girl!.)

I like it!. I think I would pick it!. Normally I make my decision if the book is new or not and if it's hard cover or paper back!. I like hard!. It would be nicer if it had a little more colour, but that's just my taste!. Maybe you could make the lightening bolt blue or green or puple!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do not judge books by their covers, therefore I can tell you it's hard to see if I'd like it without reading some of your work!. Therefore the cover doesn't matter!. Now I'm intrigued to read it to see if my noncomittal thoughts are at all true!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It looks like a stock photo on the front of a self published book!. No, it does nothing for me!. Sorry!. I have just seen too many of these self published books with these same kinds of stock photo covers on them!.!.!. Pax-CWww@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, if I was going through the poetry section of a book store, I'd pass right over it!. It doesn't jump out at me in the slightest!. It looks like something a teenager might make for a school assignment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
