Question: Are there any Publishers who specialize in the Christian Fantasy genre!?
Hi, a friend of mine is writing a story and we are hoping to get it published in the future!. She has put me in charge of looking for a publisher who would potentially be interested in the book!. The book is a fantasy with many Christian elements, themes and allusions!. I wasn't sure if there were any publishers who specialize in this area of genre!? Do you know of any which ones would you suggest!?
If not in the area of Christian Fantasy, do you think a traditional publishing company who publishes the fantasy genre would be interested or would it be too controversial!?

You both need to either check out a copy of Writer's Market from your library or purchase it at a bookstore!. It lists all the publishers out there and what they're looking for, as well as contact info and submission guidelines!.
Do your research on publishers, though!. Once you've found names, Google them!. Find Christian writer's groups and ask about them!. Find a couple of their books and read them to see -- not if you like the story -- but if you think it's well-edited, if your story will fit their needs, if the cover and binding is done well, or if you can even find their books in stores!.
Finding good publishers takes some work!.
You might also consider looking for agents who specialize in Christian fiction!. A good agent can open doors for you that you can't open for yourself!.
