Elena is from the series Vampire Diaries!. Not Vampire Academy!.
But to answer your question!. Elena is the blond beautiful perfect girl who falls for the mysterious boy Stefan!. Stefan doesn't seem to notice her and snubs her in public all the time!. Eventually Stefan saves her life and they fall in love!. She finds out he is a vampire!. Basically its another series where a human girl falls in love with the vampire!.
