Question: I'm trying to think of an author of popular young adult novels based on classics with a modern spin!.!?

The author is female and I think at least some of her books have been based on Shakespeare!. The titles are all twists on the original titles!. I think at least one had "High" or "High School" in the title!. She was feature in a Los Angeles Times article earlier this year, I believe!.
