I need help writing my prolog?

Question: I need help writing my prolog!?

mostly because i dont know what to write in it!. i dont know if i should start directly with the conflict or take action in introducing my characters!. (also im having a hard time with names!.!.) so what should i include in a prolog!. for EXAMPLE: my story is about a kitten who lost her home!.
what should my prolog be!?

please help me!. im new to yahoo answers so i dont know about giving points but i would appreciate it!. =DWww@QuestionHome@Com

the prologue usually only introduces the problem or sets an opening scene that isnt nessesarilly in chronological order!. like when they start the story at some fixed point then go back in the main story and lead up to it, or if it doesnt fit some other way!. like with the kitten example maybe set the scene of a homeless kitten then in the story go back and reach that point!.

make the first sentence catchy!. it depends on what the story is about!. as for me, i like to jump right into the problem and during that process of writing introduce the characters later on!.
for example, your kitty story (lets say its name was!.!.!.batman!. whatever!. xD)

Batman can't find his way back home!.
Usually he keeps the house constantly in his peripheral vision while he progresses across the meadow, but for some reason, today had been an exception!. He could hear the constant twitters of mice; there was one two and a half feet the right of him, another one a bit up ahead, and another behind him, but Batman was far too anxious about finding his way back to bother pouncing them!.

and so you continue!. don't be too direct and state things outright,that makes it sort of like a script!.
