Question: Writing a novel!. Concept any good!?

I'm fourteen, maybe too young to be writing a novel, but I think I found something I want to write about!. The story is about a twenty-four-year-old musician falling in love with a fifteen-year-old girl that is working with him on music videos for his band's album!. I've written five chapters already, should I continue!? Is this concept too unrealistic or too creepy!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's creepy and controversial!. I think you should be careful cause it is illegal and if you are going to continue with this then you should do research on pedophiles who are into teens and why they claim to be in that mind set, also same with teems that get involved with older adults, for example, lots of girls who do are doing it cause deep down they are looking for a father figure!. I think for this to work, you shouldn't condone it, but be realistic and research the mind sets and psychological thinking of each age involved!. Not many people will want to read a "love" story of a pedophile and at those ages that is a pedophile!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds good!. Anyone who says they'd never read a story about paedophilia, read Lolita!. It is amazing and shocking!.
Anyway, Oscar Wilde said there is no such thing as an immoral book- only well-written books and badly-written books!. Make yours the former!
I think you should have it so that the musician has some sort of reason for falling in love with a young girl (he can't have children,
he wants to feel young again, he sympathises with her)!. He wouldn't just love her because he likes the look of her!.
Perhaps, for more impact, you could have it so that the girl appears to have a crush on the man, who takes it in his stride!. And slowly it is revealed that it is reciprocated!.!.!.
It's her or his reputation- and he chooses his reputation!. Slowly he gets back on track with a new wife and a good life as a famous musician!. The girl also picks herself up and finds a guy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Controversial topics are good for grabbing attention!. Just make sure you don't write it in a way that makes it seem like there's nothing wrong with that!. Even if you think that some teens should be allowed to have older partners in some situations, I'm sure you can agree that there are some moral issues with it, and usually it's a bad idea!. Address the issues- make sure to express the characters' confusion!. Then it won't be creepy!.

I think its very realistic!. Most of us know people who have been in situations like that!. Some people resist, some don't!. Its something we don't like to talk about, but maybe your book can begin a dialog on it!.

A very famous book from the 1950s that still sells many copies today is called "Lolita"!. You should read the summary I linked below!.

Another thing to check out is the Kevin Smith movie Mallrats!. There's a character who is a 15 year old girl that sets out to sleep with older men and record her experiences for the purposes of quasi-academic research!. It's a small part of a silly, non-serious movie, but still interesting!. This shows that there can be multiple reasons why your characters make the choices they do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There's no such thing as being too young to write!. It sounds like this could be a really good story!. It isn't too unrealistic or too creepy, because this could really happen in life!. You should always keep writing, no matter what anyone else says!.

If you enjoy writing, and you have places that you want to go with the novel, then go ahead and do it!.
