Question: In Twilight at the Baseball field!.!.!?

!.!. why does Edward ask Bella to take her hair down!? It seems to me as though it would somehow condense the smell if she left it up, so I'm curious why he asked this!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really think it was so that James and the others would not see her face!. I mean!.!.!. not like that would stop him, but he wanted her to be out of their minds as much as possible!.!.!.

Kinda weird though!.!.!. if her hair was in a pony tail then he would not have gotten that nice wiff when the wind blew through her hair!.!.!. I dunno!. That is one to ask the writer for sure!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it was for more than one reason!.
first, he wanted her to cover her throat so the smell didnt drift out as much or as fast, hoping to buy some time!.
second, I think it was also to cover her face and such!. it would have been very obvious she wasnt a vampire since she wouldnt be gorgeous or have the eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i was wondering that too, but i think it would keep her from smelling better and to cover her face so james wouldnt notice her very much, but then alice says it wont help, but i think it might have if the wind didnt blow and james smelled her!. :( lol

I wanna say it had something to do with her neck!. On Buffy they always talked about hiding the vein in your neck because those have the richest blood supply!. I also think it was a concealing thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think he asked her to take her hair down so that her hair would cover her face so james couldnt see her!. which is kind of silly, he could still smell her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
