well, i read the book "club dread" and it is a mystery!.

its about a girl who is posting flyers for a band at a coffee shop!. and she meets a famous guy who is really rude to her!. and then as shes leaving the coffee shop, someone shoots the guy and then she gets blamed for the murder!. and she has to prove she didnt do it!

its a REALLY GREAT book!

but as for romance and hook ups!.!.!.

For romance books, definitely try the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (coming out on August 2nd)
