A good book about horses??

Question: A good book about horses!?!?

I want to give my sister a book that has to do with horses!. She is a horse lover and experienced rider!. Can you give me some good suggestions!? She is 20 years old, so no childrens/ young adult books and also no books about how to take care of your first horse, as she is experienced with this sort of thing!. BTW they can be fiction or non-fiction!. (No chicken soup for the horse lovers!.!.!.!.!.!. she allready has that)!. Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"national velvet" is an easy read, but is a classic, and is still good for readers of any level

How about the book called "The Whole Horse Catalog"!? Its a complete guideto buying, stabling, stable management, Equine health, Tack, Rider apparel, Equestrian activities and organizations!.!. Everything else a Horse owner and rider will ever need!.!.
