Mansfield Park by Jane Austen was made into a movie with Frances O'Connor, Persuasion (also by JA) was made into a movie with Amanda Root and Sense and Sensibility (JA) was made into a movie with Emma Thompson!. Bridget Jones's Diary The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants The Devil Wears Prada And a classic chick-lit that's been adapted to film a few times: Pride & Prejudice (I've actually read this one, and I love it!. I saw the 2005 movie, and while it's slightly different than the book, I still like it!.)
