Need title of a book?

Question: Need title of a book!?

It was out in the 80's I think the girls name was Vivian, true story, she committed suicide by hanging in the 1970's, the book was like a biography on her, she wrote incredible poetry which was all through the book!.
Does any one know this book!? I think its out of print now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe your referring to the "Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath!. Her pseudonym was "Victoria Lucas" perhaps thats where you got the "V" name!. If it is a book of poetry that you are referring to, it sounds like "Ariel" which is a book f poems that are somewhat autobiographical of her life and bouts with mental illness!. "The Bell Jar" was published in 1963, "Ariel" was published in 1965!. However, Sylvia Plath did not hang herself, she committed suicide by placing her head in the oven and turning up the gas!. Even if she's not the writer you are looking for, "The Bell Jar" and "Ariel" are must reads!Www@QuestionHome@Com
