Question: Can i recommend twilight to a 14 yr old girl!?!?

i enjoy the series very much but was wondering if it would be suitable for a 14 yr old!. she reads nicholas sparks and meg cabot!.!.
will she like the kissing and icky stuff !.!.and especially the slight sex scene in eclipse!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm 12 and I'm reading the series!. Yeah she can read it but it's not good literature, its just really fun to read!. It's basically crap but i find it really interesting!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First off let me say just because you read twilight, It does not mean you have bad taste!. If thats your opinion fine but it didn't do anything to answer this girls question, so why bother answering!? You're just wasting your time!.

I think its fine reccomending it to a 14 year old girl who reads Nicholas sparks books, The twilight saga is considered a romance also, and its a book for all ages!. I think she would enjoy it series as much as every other twilight fan has ^ ^

That slight "sex scene" also isn't that bad, and plus shes 14, She should be fine with these type of things already,Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am 14 and umm lemme tell you, kissing is nothing for a 14 year old!.!.!.truthfully haha we talk about sex in our daily lives not to mention some 14 year olds that I know actually do it, so no worries about inappropriate material!. I mean its something that happens in the world and it shouldn't be hidden!. The books are amazing and romantic without being overbearing! I love them and all of my friends do as well, some of them 12! Go ahead don't hold back let her experience the masterpiece while her imagination is still strong!. I think she'd enjoy it!. Most kids her age are probably looking for a fun easy read, and twilight is just that!. :)

We have "growth and development " in 5th grade!. And by 6th grade we all know how a baby is made!.8th grade we see the birth video (where I live)!. She'll probably like the romance!. And shes probably smart enough to know whats going on in that part of eclipse!.

Of course!. I started reading the series when I was 13 and found it fine!. If she finds it "icky" then she is very immature for a 14 year old and I would hardly call it a "sex scene"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am thirteen next month!.!.!.and I read Twilight two months ago!.!.!.so yeah It's pretty suitable!. And those kind of scenes do come up in Meg Cabot as well so I'd say it's OK for her!. Go ahead!. Recommend it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are sutible for most teens, or mature teens!.!.!. they fit into the young adult genre so they should be alright!.
