Question: Running With Scissors!?

I just saw about the last half an hour of the movie "Running With Scissors", and I was kind of interested!. The book is based on a true story!?!!?! I didn't get the whole story from the movie, so would anyone recommend me reading the book!? It's not like the movie would have completely ruined it, but I don't know how well the book was!. Are there any other stories similar to this that I could also read!? I like twisted stories like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would definitely recommend reading Running With Scissors!.!.!. I would also try reading some other of Augusten Burroughs' books like Dry or Sellevision!.!.!. and if you haven't read Million Little Pieces by James Frey!.!.!. The book is sooooooooooooo much better than the movie!.
