Question: What's a good third-person metaphor for saying "I love you"!?
Okay, I'm writing a story, possibly a book if I stick with it long enough, and I need a good metaphor for a scene!.

Like, asking someone to marry you is "Popping the question"!.

What's one for saying I love you!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There isn't really a metaphor that I know of!. Im writing a book right now too, and I'm so far along I'm so excited!.

Well saying I love you is:

Feeling something differently that you've never felt for anyone else!.

Um, gosh this is hard!. The easiest way would just to go and say something like this!.

"He thought of anything and everything to make sure what he was feeling was actually true!. Realizing that he was never going to find anyone that he felt this way about, he decided to finally tell her he loved her!."

Well thats a sucky way but I just thought of it!. You should just make it up, use you own words, because that's what makes it your book!.

Sorry I suck at third person!. I usually write in first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Corny, perhaps, but what about "his heart ached when they're apart", or "his heart died a little more each time she had to leave"'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
