I first started reading the Twilight series and the first chapter ur just kinda lk "ok, shes a bad writer" but as you get further in the book it just kinda pulls u in!!!! however my mom read it and said she hated it, so i think you have to be in the pre-teen to teen area to really appreciate it!. but you should totally read them!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I began reading it thinking of ways to break it into pieces!. I really did NOT want to like this book!. Mostly because I felt like it was riding the post Harry Potter train all the way to the bank!.
The writing quality isn't very ennovative!. And the main character is a bit too fragile for me, but there is a certain charm that this book has!. It's interesting and by the end of the first one, you want to know what happens!.
If you're looking for a good book to lie on the beach or sunbathe and read, the Twilight Series are the books for your summer!.
If you want a vampire novel that makes you think, go the Anne Rice route!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you think fan fiction is brilliant literature, then you will like it, because the books are basically written like 12 year old girl fan fiction!. I barely made it through the first one, and I went in thinking it was going to be a great book based on what everyone else was saying about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not if you appreciate quality writing!. They are written very poorly!. I can't vouch for the story itself, but the writing is not that good!. This is the wrong place to ask about Twilight!. No one will tell you the truth!. The only answers you are going to get are from tween fangirls who have no life of there own and therefore set at home fantasicing about marrying a fictional character!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i loved them!. I read them before they got popular tho!. they are really great books but i can see why your asking!.!.!.so many people are crazy about them that it makes me not want to like them even thought i love them!. But if u dont have a problem with everyone else liking the books and dont have a problem following the trends then u should read them!.

NO!. They are NOT!.

I honestly gave them a try!. I went into the first book with very few expectations and no prejudices!. I really and truly gave it a chance!. On its own, it's nothing beyond average!. The pacing is strange, the characters are a mess, the "love" gets repetitive and childish, and!.!.!. etc!.

The second book isn't much better!. At least that book isn't centered around the snickering vampire who constantly makes the narrator swoon and gush and crumble into tiny bits of teenage rubble!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought they were terrible!.
No plot!.
No character development!.
No good characters!.
Everything about the book is cliche!.
I burned my copy of the books!.

And to the person that said if you are 11-19 would love it!.!.!.you obviously haven't looked around much!.

If you're into romance with mythical and adventuraous/actiony twists, then you'll love it!. Doesn't matter your age!. My friends mother read it, as did her ex-boyfriend!.
