Question: What's a good biography, auto biography, or memoir about heroism that would be good for a teenager!?

"The Glass Castle" by Jeanette Walls is a memoir, mostly of her teen years and growing up hungry, since she and her sisters and brother were often left to fend for themselves by very unorthodox parents!.
Probably without realizing it, Walls shows her own great courage, heroism and fortitude in this autobiography!.
