Question: Why dont I get inspired to write anymore!!?!?
I mean I know how to cross writers block, but I just do not feel like writing and when I do, there is no life in there!

Why!? What can I do! Do I just give up and wait, when inspiration comes, I just jump again at the ocasion! or do I try to fake just in case I make it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I feel that way all the time, and the best thing to do is step back from the laptop, step out of your mind and back into your body!. The more you live in your mind trying to find inspiration, the harder it will be!. If you are just writing for pleasure & not for school or work, then take the pressure out of yourself!. Chillax!. : )

* Carry a small notepad & pen with you EVERYWHERE you go & write down things that are funny, inspiring or interesting!. I'm constantly writing down things from bumper stickers, quotes on buildings, & observations!.

* Spend a day somewhere vibrant & inspiring and really pay attention to everything around you!. I think you're in London, so maybe you could go to the Queen's Rose Garden in Regents Park and think of a story behind each lady a rose was named after!. Go to Kensington Gardens & imagine what it was like at different times!. Observe all the nationalities at Harrods!.

* Go somewhere to just people watch!. I LOVE hanging at the Tate Modern!. Seeing art just inspires me so much, and it's so interesting to watch people as they're taking in a piece!. The view from the tea room is killer!. Just hanging at a Starbucks will work, too, though!.

* Join a writers group!. Many are free, and they're really cool because you can get feedback from others, and you have more of a motivation to write!. I belong to one just for girls, but I'm sure there are ones for adults in London!.

* I love The Aspiring Writer's Journal by Susie Morgenstern!. It's this daily journal with a quote & write assignment for every day of the yr!. My creative writing teacher had us get it back in the 9th grade, & I've gotten a new one every yr since!. It's sort of aimed towards younger kids, but whatever, I love it!. Okay, here are the assignments for the next few days in case you want to give them a try:
19/7: According to the Kabbala, a branch of Jewish thought, the world is fragmented into hundreds of pieces!. But if we act with honesty & integrity, we can repair it!. What would be your priority if you wanted to "repair" the world!?
"By receiving light & transmitting it, we repair the world!."
~ The Kabbala
20/7 : Don't tell your parents, but spend the whole night writing down your hopes and dreams and all your innermost wishes!. (ok!.!.!.!.so I know you're kinda past this stage, but you can still do this assignment if you wanted!.)
"If you want your dreams to come true, don't sleep!."
~ Yiddish proverb
21/7: Proust realized that we have to face up to painful memories - but we generally try to forget them!. We call it having "selective memory!." Search in your memory for something you would rather forget, and look it in the face - you may see it differently!.
"There is no one, no matter how wise he is, who has not in his youth said or done things that are so unpleasant to recall in later life that he would expunge them entirely from his memory if that were possible!." ~ Marcel Proust
22/7: Have you ever wasted your time putting in a lot of effort for nothing!?
"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler!." ~ Albert Einstein

And finally: read! Read Vanity Fair - awesome articles, the paper, a new book!. Reading goes hand in hand with writing!.

I hope this helps a bit!. : )

Fake it!? What good would that do anybody!?
No, if you don't feel your story, it's not going to be any good, because you don't love it!. I suggest taking a break!. Maybe something will come to you while you're brushing your teeth or something like that!. Then you'll be all fired up and ready to write again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

look out at a street and describe what you see!. watch a stranger, and write about what they're doing, what they're daily routine is like, and what sort of life they live!. just get started somewhere, and don't stop!.
observe!.
interpret!.
create!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just stop thinking and it will come to you!. when that happpens to me i walk away and do something different then i run back with a new idea it will come back to you once that lasted a week for me so give it timeWww@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't wait!.!.!.!.!.just write!. Write about anything and everything until you find that oh-so perfect subject!. Trust me, waiting for inspiration gets you nowhere!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wait for it!. It will come!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
