Don't read something just to impress your teacher!. You should read things that are interesting to you!. Reading should be fun!.

Some suggestions!.!.!.
Anything by Sophie Kinsella is great!.
Jane Austen is an amazing author!.
John Grisham is very descriptive!.
Nicholas Sparks are fast moving, but I always end up needed a tissue for very last chapters!.

Moby Dick by Herman Melville and Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe are novels everyone should read!.

You will be able to get good summaries of the books on-line!. Check out barnesandnoble!.com for summaries and also book reviews by people that have read the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Emma-Jane Austen- A girl finds success in making a match for her friend so decides to continue matchmaking, but the results are far from what she wanted!. Very funny book, and the main idea behind the movie Clueless!.
Anthem-Ayn Rand (sp!?)-About a futuristic society!. REALLY good!.
North and South-Elizabeth Glaskell-Like Pride and Prejudice with some other issues!.
A great sight to look at is borders!.com or any bookstore and look for the penguin classics (they have a webpage as well) and just pick whatever looks the most interesting to you!. Any book on that list is one any teacher would be proud of!. happy reading : )

Read any of the classics!.!.!.anything by Jane Austen is a must!.!.!.check out Pride and Prejudice =)
Or maybe Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte!.
If you're not into the classics, check out The Book Thief by Markus Zusak!. It's more of a teen read, so it's easer to read, but it's a great read!. I thouroughly recommend it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
