Question: Can you help me find this book re out of body experience and dying!?

Here are basics!.!.!.!.!.it's a true story about a guy in the forces, years ago ( he is now some sort of Professor who hadn't believed in any kind of afterlife )!.He was seriously injured and 'came out' of his body looking down on himself on the hospital bed,only recognizing himself from a ring on his finger from under the bed sheet!.

Well, I don't know about this book, but 90 minutes in Heaven was good and about this kind of thing!.
