Question: Ellen Hopkins: Crank & Glass!.!.!?
I checked out Glass at the library, and when I came home I was really excited to read it, but read the preface to realise that it's the sequel of Crank!.!. Can I read Glass and then Crank, or do I HAVE to read Crank first!?
They didn't have Crank in at the library!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, you need to read Crank first!. Well, you don't HAVE to, but I think it's better that way!. It makes more sense, and it'll be a better experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You do not necessarily have to read them in chronological order, (though it does help for the average reader that gets confused with some of the scenes that are continued over from the previous installment and some people just prefer to experience the entire saga from start to finish)!. It is not much different than "prequels" to some authors' well-known series (such as Thomas Harris' "Hannibal Rising")!. Think of it in that context if you have any difficulty keeping up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I didn't read them in order!.!. It is kinda confusing!.!. But I liked how when I read Crank after Glass that everything fell into place!.!. That everything made sense!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
