Edward, because I don't think that he would ever do anything to hurt Bella!.!.!.physically or emotionally!. He did something in the 2nd book that may have seemed like he hurt her, but he thought it was for her own good!. I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I will just say that I think Jacob is just a big baby and I think Edward is mature and responsible and clearly better looking!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because his personality is better than Edward's!. Jake is much better in relationships and is a better boyfriend/husband/partner (IMO)!.

Jake's human, too!. That's why I like him-- because he's not perfect!. It makes him realistic!. He's the most realistic character!. He has the most character development, too!. He's without a doubt the one who changes the most throughout the series!. And I like that he's human because, in the first place, I think being human is amazing!. I think human experiences are important, and Jake can give those to Bella!. And I dislike the vampires, so humanity appeals to me so much more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

EDWARD!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so much better than Jacob!. Edward is kind and respecctive of all of Bella's feelings and Jacob is so oblivious, and he claims he really loves her, but he won't let her do what SHE wants!. Especiaally when he kissed her, that maaade me throw the book across the room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
