Question: Has this been done before!?
I want to write a book, and it will be fantasy!. The idea is that they round up children from all over the land (not actually earth) who might have promise (the promise will be explained later) to this special school!. There they are put through rigorous testing to discover if they have the right talents!. If they do, they are sent on a quest to discover their element!. If they are water, they can breathe underwater, converse with sea creatures, and shapeshift into fish or sharks!. The same goes for fire, wind, and earth, except with different effects!. I don't want to give away the whole story, but has this part been done before!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know if it has 'been done before', I haven't read any books that have this as a theme!.

well the first part has been done in real life!. read the bible!. the story of daniel!. but the super power part has not been done in that setting and would be interesting!. i think i would read that if i knew your name and could look it up after it has been published!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
