Question: Twilight: why is it bad for edward to go out into the sun!?

i know he can go out when its cloudy but im confused he took bella out to the woods when it was sunny and not raining!. why cant he be out in broad daylight!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If he, or any other vampire for that matter, goes out in the sun, they "sparkle!." I think it's pretty neat, and I am interested to see what they do in the movie to make the vampires sparkle!. Hope that helped : )Www@QuestionHome@Com

well there are laws about being a vampire!.!.!.!.but the only law they have to follow is not to expose themselves as vampires!. if you remember in the meadow when edward stepped into the sunlight his skin "glitters" now imagine yourself walking down the street and you see this guy glittering!.!.!.what would you think!? if he were to do that in public in broad daylight it would expose him as a vampire and edward would prbably get in trouble from the Voulturi!. and that's not good!.!.!.so yea! hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's because when vampires are in the sun their skin sparkles, and if he's around people and he starts shineing, that would be very odd!. That's why he and his family only go to school when it's a little dark out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you read the book carefully enough, his skin glitters in direct sunlight and he doesn't melt like the myths!. Him glittering gives it away that he is a vampire!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't 'bad' as in he'll die, but he sparkles in the sunlight and that would expose him as being a vampire which wouldn't be good, it would also probably cause some accidents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It makes him "sparkle", as the book explains!. So everyone would notice he wasn't human if they saw him in the sun, since it's obviously not normal to sparkle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its not bad, he can be out in the sun for all he wants and it wont hurt him, but the people around him are goign to get freaked out!.!. he shines:] & thats not normal!.!.

Vampires do not absorb sunlight, they reflect it, like a rock!. He sparkles, If he went out in broad daylight, poeple would stare, have car crashes ect!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
