But right now everybody seems to love twilight which i enjoy but think the harry potter is way better

I would also like to add that jk rowlings writing is by far better then stephanie meyer!.

I will give you an example did any body who read all seven books feel that as they read from the first book when the characters were younger to the seventh one when they were young adults that the diction became more advanced for each book because as they grew older their diction became better!.

I admit that the Twilight series is good and that it can attract to alot of young girls with the "perfect guy" falling in love with an average girl but that is all there is to the book!. There is nothing beyond that!. Just a simple girl falling in love with a guy along with some twists like the fact that he is a vampire who has to compete with jacob for Bella!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, Twilight is more for um, teenage girls!. But for Harry Potter, any age group can read it!. From the first book!.

also, Harry Potter makes you think!.!.You can have a THEORY!. Twilight is just, she likes him, he likes her, you know!.

Children might not be able to understand Twilight!.

did you see people cueing up for hours to get their hands on the last twilight book!. I dont think so!. But my friend got to BIG W in miranda fair at 4:15 am in the morning waiting for the store to open at 9:00am just to be the first one to get her hands on the recent harry potter novel!.

JK rowling is a billionare becuase she has sold so many books, which means so many people are buying them becuase they are good to read!.!.

Harry Potter!.
A lot of Twilight fans argue that Twilight is good for anyone- I disagree!.
Twilight has some adult themes, so unless you are old enough to understand those themes, you don't read it!.

For my children I would never read Twilight to them as a bedtime story, Harry Potter works soo much better!. So kids grow up reading Harry Potter and will love it!.

The thing is that the media is blowing up Twilight out of proportion by saying things like "The NEW JK Rowling!?" (which bytheway Rowling's writing style is SO much better! Twilighters who disagree- go read book 1 again!.)
or "A New Harry Potter!?" the media is just doing it to make money!.

Harry Potter was on the NYT Bestseller list for almost 10 years, infact Harry Potter redifined the Bestseller list (First it was just one list- then for Harry Potter they broke up the list into Adult and Children)
I don't think Twilight will be on the List for almost 10 years!. I really doubt it!.

Harry Potter, for sure!. Harry Potter is amazing!. The plot is developed, there are unexpected twists and turns, the character development is subtle but distinct, the characters are realistic!.

And in terms of popularity, Harry also prevails!. JKR is a self-made BILLIONAIRE!. I think that outside the US and some of Europe, Twilight isn't as well-known!.

Remember Harry Potter has come to an end, no more books!. Twilight has just gained a HUGE following and it's growing!. I dont think you can say which is more popular, but I think that Harry Potter is passing the torch to Twilight!.

i don't think it will ever become what hp has become though!. while i haven't read it yet, from what i've heard, it doesn't have the multitude of things to attract the wide variety of audiences that harry potter did/does!. it seems to be more aimed at the high school/college crowd!.

I would say Harry Potter!. I know it has been translated into at least 60 languages!. Pretty much everyone at my school has heard about Harry Potter (unless they're living under a rock), but there are a lot of others who have never heard of/read Twilight!.

i think its a tie but according to me , harry potter is the best!. its got some stuff in it while twilight is just romance, and it has all negative influences- the fact that bella can't live without edward, how she became like a zombie without him, etc!.
