Was!? It's not over!. It will be a bit of a Box Office Battle!. :) However, most of the love of Twilight comes from Edwards charm!. Most of the love of Harry Potter comes from the depth and uniqueness of the characters!. There is nothing unique about a vampire!. Vampires are everywhere!. There are not many wizards!. At least, not that would come near to the caliber of HP!.

I, personally, think that for a while, Twilight may win!. However, Harry will still have the fans when Twilight is over!. Twilight will get old, but I strongly believe that Harry will never get old!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As a fan of both series, I have to to say that I don't think Twilight will be bigger than Harry Potter!. Harry Potter is something that boys and girls of all ages can read!. It also sparked an international movement for reading and made J!.K!. Rowling a billionaire!. There is also more of a market for merchandise!. Twilight is mostly limited to the young female side!. You can't really have costumes, dolls, and other merchandise like that because everything is set in an everyday normal setting!. So while I love both series, Twilight will never top Harry Potter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Reasonably, I don't think there is any chance that the Twilight *series* is going to be more popular than Harry Potter!. Harry Potter was *extraordinarily* popular from the first book, as is usual with the case of faddishly popular book series!. If the Twilight series stood a chance of being as popular as Harry Potter, it would *already* have matched the popularity of Harry Potter at the same stage!.

It *seems* likely, because of this, that the movies will follow a similar course!. Much of the popularity of the Harry Potter movies was due to the enormous existing popularity of the Harry Potter books!. Twilight, having a comparatively small popularity with the books, is *likely* to have a comparatively small popularity with the movies!.

*However*, the Harry Potter movies are *not* truly exceptional movies!. Their popularity has been bolstered by the popularity of the books!. *If* the Twilight movies are exceptional by their own merits, they could certainly be more popular than the Harry Potter movies!. They *could* possibly cause a significant increase in the popularity of the book series! However, even such a proposed tremendous popularity of the movies is not likely to cause the book series to match the extraordinary popularity of the Harry Potter book series!.

No I doubt it!. The series targets girls and young girls at that, despite the fact that there are boys who like it, and such series really never grow to the height of Harry potter had!. Its popularity is mostly sustained through scores and scores of 10-14 year old fan girls who are drooling over Edward!.

Harry Potter has a more well rounded fan base!. It appeals to the young, the old, males, females!. Although its not great it has more plot and adventure than Twilight and so the movies are appealing to those who have not read the books as well as those who have!.

Not to mention the actors in the Harry Potter movies were decent actors and from what I have seen of the twilight previews the two main characters seem to be played by monotoned actors who were chosen for looks!. Now I will admit that it is not fair for me to judge based n previews on alone but I am still mentally preparing myself before I go see it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry Potter IS a very famous and popular series!. And it will still be that way for quite a few years since we still have THREE movies to be released, a THEME PARK in Universal in construction, and one of the LARGEST fan-bases!. Plus, it's been popular for more than decade, unlike Twilight which has only been popular for about one year!. And seeing as the last Twilight book is being released this year, I don't think it's popularity is going to last another 9 years!. Twilight is going to fade!. It's just another trend that's going to go out of style!. Harry Potter is #1!. And if Twilight wants to steal that spot, then it has a LOT to live up to!.

having read both of the series i have to say that they are both fantastic!.!.!. Although i loved twilight and read each of the books multiple times i think harry potter appiels to a wider variety of people not to mention it has been translated into multiple langueges, Stephanie Myer got most of her fame by her GORGEOS characters that every girl fell in love with (edward emmet jasper jacob and i admitt im guilty too i love them too) but her writing technique fails in comparison to that of jk rowlings!. The twilight series mostly appiels to teen-age girls and boys they force to read them!. Harry potter is like by boys and girls from 5-100 where as most seniors havent even heard of twilight!. Although they are both great harry potter will still have more momentum in 50/60 years then twilight which will must likely be forgotten!.!.!.!. But i still love edward :~)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt it, because like someone said before me the Harry Potter books and movies reach a wider audience than the Twilight series!. I’ve seen more adults reading HP on the train, and more children reading HP anywhere, than I’ve ever seen reading twilight (plus I would have never heard of it if it wasn’t for all the bumper stickers on Facebook and the previews)!. And since this series only really reaches out to a young female audience i can't really see it being as widely excepted as a series that reaches to a larger more diverse audience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

J!.K Rowling writes better!. The twilight series in coming up on the last book!. If Twilight doesn't have it now at the end it won't have it in the future!. Yes we know about Midnight Sun but you will all be reading the same plot it will just be in another characters point of view!. You might not even like the movie!. Some boys not all but some don't want to see that!. Plus Harry Potter has more products because its more universal!.
