Question: Twilight fans please give me your opinion!.!.!.!?
now, before i say anything let me state that TWILIGHT IS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER!! (besides harry potter lol) so please don't take what i say the wrong way and end up reporting me!. k thanks, just felt like i should say that!.
i just finished re-reading new moon and i now realize something i didn't before!. through the course of the book, when edward is not there, bella seems to be broken, emotionally anyway!. and the second she sees alice, she bursts into tears and begs for her to stay!. my question is, (and again, don't take this the wrong way) why is bella so clingy to the cullens!? i mean, of course i would miss the love of my life terribly if he told me he did not love me anymore and i would wish he could come back, but at the same time, look at all the things that happened to poor bella as a result of edward leaving!. she's riding motorcycles and jumping off cliffs!. shouldn't she be a little ANGRY at edward for leaving her vulnerable and alone!? wouldn't she expess some anger!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that Bella is emotionally unstable!. She seems to selfishly live for everyone but herself, if that makes sense!. She moves away for her mom and ends up living with her dad (which, of course, brings on the meeting of Edward)!. Then, after Bella begins to love Edward, she feels like she's also living for him (and this is proven when Edward tries to die after he thinks she is dead)!. In addition, Bella also wants Edward to stay with her!. I don't think that type of anger is really in her character, which is strange!. Or maybe sadness can overcome anger!.!.!.!? I'm not particularly sure, as I've never been in such a situation!. As for the other Cullens, I have no idea why she became so attached!. Perhaps it's because she can easily relate them to Edward!.

Because in Bella's mind, he did the right thing!. He chose something bigger and brighter in his future, instead of plain her!. She loved him unconditionally and didn't feel angry towards him!. Alice was a whole different story!. Alice would forever remain her best friend and sister!. Alice didn't choose to leave her!. In Bella's mindset, they did nothing wrong or anger-inducing (except for buying her things and listening to her sleep talk!.;) )

Well, I think she's so clingy cause she really feels like she's part of the Cullen family, since she hung out with them so much!.!.!. and i think she would've been angry @ Edward for leaving, but I think she was just grateful that he was alive, and didn't get killed!! But I think she might be hiding that anger deep down inside of her! We might see that anger come out in Breaking Dawn!.!.!. who knows!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
She did!. She was angry with him, but have to experience that kind of anger before!. She wanted to be with him more than she wanted to be angry with him!. When she pounced on Alice she wanted any bit of the family she could get!. They were her drug and Edward took that away!. She doesn't really feel angry, because, she's depressed, she's sad, how could she be angry!? She's happy that Alice came, because she thought that there was the chance that Edward could still "want" her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
yes, i would forgive him but still, i would be angry!! i think its because of the force of her love for him causes her to forgive him so easy!. also, i think she is a little scared of losing him!. i mean, he is hot and could have anyone, and she is plain and human and so not compatible, so i think she feels like she is walking on thin ice!.
besides, the way she sees it is that what he did to her was brave and selfless cuz he left FOR her!. she doesnt think she has any right to be angry!. he (of course) feels super bad, and is constantly trying to make it up to her!.

I considered the same thing (almost)!.
I thought she was way too clingy and obsessed and that she needs to get over him!. BUT after my friends (who have been with the same guy for several years and want to marry them) they say that they would probably feel the same way!.
So maybe you and I just can't understand it because we've never been in love that deeply!? (I'm not sure if you have or not, but i'm assuming you haven't)!.
She's deeply in love with Edward, he's her everything and she can't live without him and so when he leaves her, she feels empty!. Her reason for being on this earth is gone!. She wants anything and everything that reminds her of him!. So the jumping off the cliffs and riding the motorcycles were HER fault and not his, she was just wanting to HEAR him!. So why would she be angry with him for her wanting to hear him!?
And the whole Alice thing, she Alice is probably the closest thing she has to Edward and Alice has been there for her as her best friend!. She helped Bella when she wasn't able to help herself (after the other vampire attacked her)!.
I think that's it anyways, like I said, i can't fully understand what's going on in Bella's head because I've never been there!. Some of my friends have, and they say they would react in a similar way (I still think it's overly obsessive, but maybe that's how love is!? I hope not! lol)Www@QuestionHome@Com
