Question: I'm really bored this summer and wanted something good to read!.!.!.!?
I'm not really into chick lit, but I like dark, mysterious, semi-romantic novels!. I've already read almost every teen book known to man, including, but not limited to:
A lot of Edgar Allen Poe
All books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes [The Forest of The Night, Demon In My View, Shattered Mirror, Midnight Predator!. And then there is the The Kiesha'ra series: Hawksong (the best in the series!), Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry and Wyverhail]
Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
The entire Cirque du Freak series and other books by Darren Shan
The Mortal Instruments Series (City of Bones)
His Dark Materials Series (The Golden Compass)
The Twilight Series
Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns
Harry Potter 1-7

Hmmm if you can read adult books and you don't mind a bit of sex then i would really recommend The Women of the Other World series by Kelley Armstrong!.
If you really like dark then I would also suggest The Blood Confession by Alisa Libby!. Its a very dark book based on the true Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory!. It has mild cannibalism in it like drinking blood but it is still a fascinating book!. The one thing to remember about this book is that its gory but in a good way almost poetically gore!.
