Basically, an alien race "souls" that needs to be inside a "host" body to live has chosen earth, and there really are no more true humans, except a few in hiding!. The story follows Wanderer, a sould who has never settled on a planet inside the body of a former resister!. They are called Souls!. And they decide to make the humans their hosts!. The main character (a Soul) is placed in a womn named Melanie's body to find information within her mind regarding humans who are hiding!. But Melanie still has partial control of her mind!. She thinks of the human she loves -Jared- and the Soul falls in love with him!. So they -Melanie and the Soul, working together- go to find Jared!. They are held in Jared's loation, and the soul grows attached to the humans!. But a Soul is still trying to find Melanie and the Soul!. I could tell more, but it would give the ending away!. Its too long and if it went any slower it would be going back wards!. Its not worth the read even most Twilight fans seem to hate it!. Melanie is just like Bella in that she is damsel in distress who is weak and always controlled by a man!. The characters are flat even for Stephanie Meyer!. If you like twilight don't read this book its too long and really not worth it!. I caught my 14 year old cousin burning her copy of it she hated it so much and she is a huge twilight fan!. It has plot holes the size of Russia!. Its an interesting Idea but really really not worth the read!.
