Question: What Shakespeare plays do the Twilight books tie in with!?
i remember reading somewhere that the Twilight books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) could all be related back to one or more of Shakespeare's plays!. I remember seeing Romeo and Juliette on that list, along with A Midsummer Nights Dream!.
Can anyone tell me what plays they are and what books they link too!?!? Thanks! <3Www@QuestionHome@Com

It said in an interview with stephenie, but I believe that she said!.!.!.

Twilight is like Pride and Prejudice, New Moon is like Romeo and Juliet, Eclipse is like Wuthering Heights and Breaking Dawn is like A Midsummer Night's Dream and something else that we don't know yet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you saw those titles, you already know what plays those are!.
To my mind, Shakespeare never dealt with dead people who actually were immortal, or close to it!.

A minor god or ghost might appear here and there, characters who often wreaked some kind of havoc on the living, but who never bit or went to school with or fell in love with one character alive, the other dead!. See!? None!.

ADD: Sorry, but if you'd ever read Meyer's original list of 'books I like to read,' none were a Shakespeare-anything then!.
Not even more that a couple of classics!.
I guess she's read a few since!.!.!. not many!.
