I love Dan Brown books, such as Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Digital Fortress!. There are more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head!.

The Chronicles of Narnia- You may have already read them, but I figured I'd include them just in case!.

Fearless- It's a series by Francine Pascal about a girl born without the ability to be afraid!. It's been one of my favorite series for about four years!. If I say more, I probably will have trouble stopping!.

I also like Chuck Paluniuk (I probably misspelled his last name)!. My favorite book of his is Haunted, about some kidnapped authors who are forced to write stories for their captor!. The story, and the short stories inside it, are incredibly thought-provoking and intelligent!. It's pretty dark though, so prepare yourself!. He also wrote Fight Club, and if you liked the movie, you'll probably like his books!.

Another dark book that I really liked was Click!. It's about a guy who can basically sort through all the possible outcomes of an event, and then pick one, all in a split second!.

Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls is an autobiography about a girl's bizarre life, and while some parts are disturbing, is an incredibly entertaining book!.

There's also a series about an abused kid, called A Child Called It!. I don't remember who it's by, but it's pretty famous!. It's also pretty painful to read, though!.

These are good science fiction novels, with strong political messages:
1984- George Orwell
The Time Machine- H!. G!. Wells
Brave New World- Aldous Huxley

Night- Elie Wiesel
An autobiography about a man who survived the holocaust

If I Should Die Before I Wake- Han Nolan
A white supremist teen enters the holocaust while in a coma!.

Keeping The Moon- Sarah Dessen
I loved this book, and many others by this author!. About a rough teen girl who grows up during a summer!. The plot doesn't sound exciting, but the author writes beautifully, and really draws you in!. I felt smarter and stronger after reading this book!.

Hope this helps! I go through books pretty fast too, so I know how you feel!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells & Queen of Babble) and Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic [soon to be movie] & Remember Me) Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue, Baby Proof) books!. I am in the process of reading Jennifer Weiner's (Good In Bed & Certain Girls) books!. They are all great authors!

For a young adult/teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books!. She is the best author!. also best selling!. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, Airhead and more!. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her!.
