Question: So I need a name for a group of people for my story!.!.!.details inside!?
So I'm writing a contemporary fantasy novel but I can't think of a common term for the supernatural people in my stor (in general, as a whole you know!? Like Demons, witches, vampires etc all fall into the category supernatural!.)
I'm looking for a shorter nick-name type word that can be used to mean, "Magical folk" basically!. Magical folk is too long and sort of lame (because it's not magic in my story) and I've been so-far calling them, "Supers"which just makes me think of the Incredibles lol!.
So I need something else!.!.!.!.something short that flows and gets across the point that they're not normal human beings!. (srt of like how 'muggles' is used to describe humans in Harry Potter if that's a better example!?)

Could you use "mages"!? It's an actual word, but it's mostly what you're looking for (means magician)!.
I do like "supers," even if it is a bit Incredibles-ish!. You could try "paras," as in paranormal!.
