Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I recently read The Perks of Being a Wallflower!. It was a newer kind of Catcher in the Rye, and I really enjoyed it!. It was funny, and quite poignant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells & Queen of Babble) and Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic [soon to be movie] & Remember Me) Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue, Baby Proof) books!. I am in the process of reading Jennifer Weiner's (Good In Bed & Certain Girls) books!. They are all great authors!
For a young adult/teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books!. She is the best author!. also best selling!. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, Airhead and more!. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her!.
If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
The Myst Reader!. It's actually 3 books in one, The Book of Atrus, The Book of Ti'Ana, and The Book of D'ni!. The second is a prequel to the first and will eventually be a movie it seems! The first is my favorite book ever!. It's about a child named Atrus whose dad comes years later to fetch him after abandoning him at birth with his grandmother in order to help rebuild the D'ni Civilization that he is a part of!. It's a collapsed culture that used a style of extremely specific writing called "The Art" in order to link to other words!. His dad is a tad megalomaniacal!.
The writing style is very unique!. Probably intentionally, the book is written in a very descriptive style, while the plot is about descriptive writing!. It's also a book nobody's ever heard of!. Constant referrals of classics (which I often find myself hating!. I read a lot) get obnoxious!. I think you'll like it! I recommended it to my English teacher since I knew it was unlikely that he'd heard of it and he really liked it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

"The Master of Lucid Dreams," Dr!. Olga Kharitidi!.
"Extraordinary Knowing," Dr!. Elizabeth Mayer!.
"Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet!.

I just finished Frank McCourt's 'Angela's Ashes'!. This is a memoir, and you will find it in the non-fiction section!. But it is very readable and a treasure!. This is the story of a young boy growing up in Ireland in the 1930's!. A tragic story that had me in tears, but presented with such wit that it had me laughing out loud!.
Barbara Kingsolver's 'Prodigal Summer' was very good!. It is set in the Appalachian Mountains and tells about three different pairs of characters!. Characters I will never forget!.
I read James Michener's 'The Source' when I was your age!. this is a historical novel telling the history of the Jews in present day Israel!. I have reread it twice over the years!.
I also read Leon Uris's QBVII when I was 17!. The story of a libel trial centered around a doctor in Nazi Germany!. I was captivated by this story!.
John Irving's 'A Prayer for Owen Meany' is one of my all time favorites!. A young misfit trying to find his place in the world!.
Those are a few suggestions!.
Enjoy whatever you choose!Www@QuestionHome@Com
