I like romance, historical fiction, funny books, pretty much everything except TWILIGHT, John Steinbeck, mysteries!.

Definitely a great alternative to an other certain awful book series out there right now!. As per historical fiction !.!.!. If you haven't read the DaVinci Code yet, you should get that under your belt!. Even if the story and characters are kinda lame, it has the ability to astound just about anybody with the awesomeness of history!. The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon is also an amazing historical satire, with a concept far more interesting than even the DaVinci Code!. Very short book, though Pynchon's writing has been called difficult (but rewarding!)!. I've always loved her writing, even her Sci-fi books and I'm not a huge Sci-fi fan!. In this book she gives a feminist light on the Celtic era where Merlin reigned supreme!. In a topic that has been done to death, somehow she manages to make it all fresh and new, and a great read!. there are more books in this series that she wrote with Diane L!. Paxton including a prequel called Forest House!. Books like this don't seem to be all that popular but I really enjoy them!.
