Question: WWII Memoirs!?
Over the summer I am required to read any memoir/autobiography!. The only subject I’m interested in reading about is WWII and I am in need of suggestions of any WWII memoirs (1st person) whether it be related to the pacific, German soldiers, snipers, marines, Russia, USSR, ect!. Well my favorite WWII book EVER is "Maus", a nonfiction graphic novel by Art Spiegelman about his father, Vladek, in Auschwitz!. That's a biography, though, not a memoir!.!.!.but you should still read it!

The best memoir I've read recently is Marjane Satrapi's "Persepolis": her account of growing up as a little girl in revolutionary Iran!. Not about WW2, but it's terrific!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Brought the US into the war after Pearl Harbor!.

With The Old Breed by E!.B!.Sledge(Marine at Peleliu memoir) and/or The Forgotten Soldier by Guy Sajer(German on the Eastern Front memoir) !. Both are well regarded as classics !.
