Question: Why can't people get over themselves!.!.!.!?

Why are some people so aggressive when it comes to Harry Potter!. Of course they're not as well written as adult books but they can still be enjoyed by adults!. Just take them at face value and stop being so self important!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most people I knew in college love the Potter books!. The biggest fans were always the Profs who would read the latest books over a weekend and then gloat about it because the rest of us had to finish Dracula!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People become aggressive about Harry Potter because they are obsessive about it!. I am obsessed with the wonderful books, but I try not to be aggressive!. Sometimes, however, it simply happens!. This may be due to the fact that I've been obsessed for more than half my life and when someone says Harry Potter is stupid to me it's like saying I think God is stupid to a christian!. It really bothers me!. It might also be due to the fact that some people are naturally aggressive and also like Harry Potter, please, do not blame the actions of one person on us all, it's rude!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't matter if they are well written or not if you enjoy them who cares!. Sometimes I think Religion enters into it!. also they are about magic and things that people consider to be bad!. Some people just like to get on a soap box!. I just finished reading His Dark Materials by Pullman- Golden Compass etc!. I loved them and I am and adult an then some!. I love animals so I got a kick out of talking animals!. I am sure without a doubt there is a lot of talk about those books!. I could care less!.
