Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Twilight series, in my opinion, is one of the best light-romance/fantasy books to ever exist!. There is action, forbidden romance, and as always, that "significant other," who is invariably there to shake up the otherwise infallible love between our hero and heroine!.
Another great series would be the "Magic or Madness," series, there isn't much romance, but there is action, suspense, and the ultimate descision!. !. !. magic or madness!?
The Blue Bloods series is also fantastic!. There is romance, mystery, a great page turner!.
Vampire Academy and it's sequel, Frostbite are also great reads!. There is high-school romance, hushed affection, and action!.
Eragon and Eldest are fantastic!. These is fantasy, the kind where you just wish you were the lucky kid in Eragon's position!.
Some more I have to reccomend are, Old Yeller, Savage Sam, Lock and Key, Kissing Snowflakes, Sandpiper, The Seven Deadly Sins series, the Uglies series, Someone LIke You, Dreamland, and the Host, (which is right at the top of my favorites with Twilight!.)
I really hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind, Fantasy, Fiction and Romance in one!. There are 11 books!. Starts with Wizards First Rule, Stone of Tears, Blood of the Fold, Soul of Fire, Temple of the Winds, Faith of the Fallen, The Pillars of Creation, Naked Empire, Chainfire, Phantom and Confessor plus a spin of Bag of Bones!.

For light romance try Alan Titchmarsh - Mr Mcgreggor, Animal Instincts, The Last Lighthouse Keeper, Only Dad, Rosie and Love and Dr Devon!. I love these and can't wait for his new one to come out Follies!.

Stephen King's Dark Tower Series is also great, starts with The Gunnslinger, The Drawing of the Three, The Waste Lands, Wizard and Glass, Song of Suzanna, Wolves of Carla and The Dark Tower plus a spin off The Eyes of the Dragon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series!. Dark Hunters are immortals without souls who have to keep humans safe from Daimans (vampires) and other creatures!. These are paranormal romances - the Dark Hunters (who are mostly male) often find "the one", though they weren't searching and didn't think they could or should love!. They're fun and many take place with Louisiana as a backdrop!. She also wrote Lords of Avalon, a newer series!. I've read the first - this is more fantasy with some connection to Arthur and the Round Table!.

Other fantasy I've enjoyed: His Dark Materials (Phillip Pullman) - not heavy into romance, but there is a growing relationship with the young heroine!. I thought the first of the series, The Golden Compass, was really good!.

Love Anne McCaffrey books!. They are older - I think I started with Moreta, but I read most of them (though none that have been written by her son - I understand they aren't as good)!. The series is Dragonriders of Pern!.

Piers Anthony has a crazy series taking place in the magical land of Xanth!. The first ones in this series are fun and full of puns!. It's also older!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, really different from his other stuff and just fantastic! I have read it ten times at least!

For something a little lighter how about the Flowers in the Attic or the Heaven series by Virginia Andrews, they are usually filled with romance type story lines and can be quite fun to read!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
