Question: What does Lady Capulet mean when she says:!?
''Ay, sir; but she will none, she gives you thanks!.
I would the fool were married to her grave!''

This is to lord Capulet after Lord Capulet's attack no Juliet for refusing to go ahead with the arranged marriage to Paris that Thursday!.

What would the modern equivalent be of what Lady Capulet has said (not too modern though!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, Juliet's mother says those lines just before Juliet's father flies into a rage and threatens to throw their daughter out into the street!. Lady Capulet is delivering the news that Juliet refuses to marry Paris!. She is saying, in modern terms, "Yes, sir!. I did tell her about the marriage we've planned for her!. But she says, 'No, thank you!.' I wish she were dead!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
