Question: Help With My Post- Apoclyptic Story Plot!?
Okay!. So Im Trying To Write A Story!. And All the Plot Ideas I Come Up With Are Lame!. Too Complicated Or Just Very Tedious!.
So I Need You Clevers People To Help Me ^!.^
My Story Is Set In The Future On Earth In A Post-Apocalyptic WasteLand!.
The Permenent Features Of The Plot I Have Are:
-Two Best Friends Who Are In There Late Teens!. One Has A Really Tough Life And Falls In Love With The Other!.
-The One Who Has It Tough Is Cursed Or Is A Half Breed Or Something [[Havnt Quiet Developed That Yet]]
-And I Somehow Want To Include An Older Guy [[in his late 20s/30s]] Who Seems Really Nice And Turns Out To Be The Enemy Or Something Like That!.
Im Not Quiet Sure What Genré It Is Because It Keeps Changing!.
But If You Have any Ideas What I Could Use To tie This All Together Or Anything Please Tell Me Cause I Am Complety Stuck =(Www@QuestionHome@Com

Start by thinking about how the cataclysm happened, who it affected and why, who lost the most!.
Make your characters real people, with real problems related to the world they live in!. (eg, Harry Dresden is the only professional wizard in Chicago!. Think about how weird that can be!.!.!.)
Ask what would put your protagonists in the position to fall in love!. Are they alone as they trek towards what they hope is a refuge from the greater world!? Are they trapped!? Are they from different side of the society!? did they do it out of rebellion!?
Why would the older character be an enemy!? what motivates him!? Lust!? Power!? Greed!? Who says he has to be an enemy!? He could be the sage they are subconsciously looking for who will tell them why things are happening to them, but his methods only seem hostile!.
