Go to any independent bookstore in your area!. that means anyplace that is NOT Barnes & Noble or Borders!. In the Fiction section, employees will have tagged books that they recommend with a brief description of why they liked the book!. You can even ask the employee who recommended the book for more information in the store!. Not only will you find a novel you will enjoy, whatever your personal taste may be, but you will also have information about the novel from someone who loves it, which will get you excited about reading it!.
Or ask a friend to lend you a book they really liked!.

She's Come Undone by!. Wally Lamb- it has a bit of everything, including mother/daughter relationships, self-image issues, love, hurt, betrayal, feminism, a great history of the 1960's hippie movement, redemption, depression, rebirth, and recovery from sexual assault!.!.!.!.!.It is my absolute fave, and it it is now on sale ant bn!.com in the Bargain books section!!!! also, it is is in Oprah's book club :)

I highly recommend "The Alchemist" by Paulo Cohelo!. It's pretty short, but the story is a great teaching for everyone's journey in life!. It has won a bunch of awards and has been translated into many many languages!. I hope you read it, I know you'll love itWww@QuestionHome@Com
