What were the first books you read?

Question: What were the first books you read!?

I think I started reading books around 9yr old!. I remember being a big Goosebumps fan!. The stories were neat and the book covers I loved!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read "Mother West Wind's Children" with my mother when I was 6!. It's a really, really old chapter book!. I learned to read from that book!.

I can't really remember much else, except that I was a fan of those "Clue" chapter books!. But "To Kill A Mockingbird" is the first I can remember reading all by myself!. I must have read it in second grade!. Too young for it, really -- for the whole first chapter I thought it was about gangsters!.

Then I read parts of "Anne of Green Gables" until Harry Potter came along, like, three years later!. God bless Harry Potter -- he made me a reader!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the first chapter book i read was Charlotte's Web!. But i remember loving these books called Meg Macintosh!. They were mystery books!. You would read to half the book for one mystery and then flip the book over for the next one!.

I started reading when I was 4-5, and got to chapter books when I was 7-8
