Question: What does poetry mean to you!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
To me, poetry is the art of conveying a pure, yet universally recognizable human sentiment, from one individual to another (preferably many others, but one will do)!. It's the art of connection - reading the work of the greatest poets, you'll have an eerie feeling that you *know* the person who wrote these lines, or even that you partly *are* that person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

poetry for me symbolizes beauty in language! sometimes simple words doesnt quite express a more meaningful and descriptive feeling we experience!. poetry is like the notes on a masterpiece!. its just words but when you listen and understand what they mean!.!.we dont just hear words about life and truth and love but we start to feel it inside!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Poetry for me is freedom!. It is like a story with grace no end!. You can write all you want even if the reader doesn't understand!. Its like putting yourself in the place of the persona and feeling the story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me, it means letting out how you feel in different ways!. Not just a straight essay, but using symbolism to express what your saying!. I think poetry is pretty cool!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
