I hated new moon because of jacob, I HATE JACOB, he always is hitting on bella, and I dont like it cause shes already edwards, that is mostly why I hated new moon, and because the beginning was soo sad!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i hated it! i HATE jacob too! i hated it cause edward was barely in it =/ such a bummer the beginning was soo incredibly sad i was crying when i read it!

Actually, "New Moon" is my favorite!. It gives some interesting character development to Bella -- and she doesn't come out of it handling it perfectly, which intrigues me!. Basically, she falls apart!. I rather like the fact that Edward is *trying* to do the right thing, even though it's like tearing his heart out to do it!.

And, it's interesting to see her relationship with Jacob grow!. Most kids her age DO have several instances of falling in and out of love with different people -- it's a good thing, it helps different parts of your character and personality grow, and it makes it easier to recognize and appreciate true love when it finally does come around!. To have her basically imprinting on Edward was a bit odd, when you think about it!.

The fact that Jacob was a bit younger than her was an interesting twist -- it was interesting watching HIS development, too!. In his own way, he is as critical to Bella's maturing as Edward is, because Bella has to learn the fragility of other people's feelings!.

The whole bit with the Italian vampires was a little over the top (especially herding the unsuspecting tourists in for dinner!), but it was fun, and I loved the discussion between Bella and Edward at the end, when Bella points out that, somewhere in Edward's heart, he believes that there may actually be a chance of going to heaven, and that he is not so damned as he may think!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I didn't hat it, but it is definitely not my favorite book in the series!. It was like really sad, but I totally HATE Jacob too!! I think he is in it way too much! I absolutely LOATH him in Eclipse, he isi just such a JERK!!!!!!!!! Like right before the fight, and he thinks he is being so much better because he is finally giving up, like he should have done from the beginning!. Seriously, between him and Edward, it is absolutely NO competition, what so ever!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I didn't hate it but i dont think its as good as the others!. I totally agree with Jacob is just ruining Bella and Edwards relationship!. also, sometimes new moon got a little boring dor me when Billy Black told the legends!. I agree with you again the beginning was so sad i cried when he told her he didnt want her anymore!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

but yes i was about to rip out the like 250 pages without edward and the page were edward left is hard to read becouse all the letters are smudged and stuff but yah new moon was definetly my least favorite of the books

I agree with you!. also, I don't know if this happened in New Moon or in Eclipse, but when Jacob kisses Bella and she doesn't want him to, he does it anyways!. That just made me hate him more!.

I loved it but i agree with you with Jacob!. I dont like that jacob!. She loves Edward!. I hate that they were together the whole book!. I was also mad that Edward left!. How can I read almost a whole book without edward!?!!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
