It's unique!. If none of these fit your characters, go to a baby naming website!. They not only have the most/least popular names, they have all the origins and meanings of the names, too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Do you want brand new names that you think are original like "Shay" or "Zane"!? Or do you want classical names that have been used in literature by greats such as Shakespeare like "Bianca" or "Othello"!? I suggest the name should reflect the period you are writing in!. Othello is more 1500's, Bianca remains a modern implistic name and Zane is a futuristic name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com What kind of book are you writing!? Because the names of the characters have a lot to do with the subject or the theme of your story!. Take, as an instance, Viktor Frankenstein, the name is perfect for the character because of the type of novel Frankenstein is!.
