I read for an hour or so every night!.!.!. it's a good wind down!. And I tend to read books that either take place in a different time period or a different 'world' all together!. I get bored reading books if whatever is happening in the book could possibly happen in my life!. Strange, I know!. Some examples of stuff I've liked!.!.!. Lord of the Rings, The Clan of the Cave Bear series by Jean Auel, Ken Follett's Pillars of Earth and World Without Time, Harry Potter, any of Gregory Maquire's books (especially Confessions of an Ugly StepSister and Wicked), the Aztec series by Gary Jennings, the Anne of Green Gables series, etc etc etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm always reading a book!. As soon as I finish one, I pick up another!. I enjoy books that have literary merit!. One's that make you think, the one's you can forget, the one's you cry over!. Some of my classic favorites are Gone With The Wind, Lonesome Dove, Jane Eyre, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov!. Then there are the books that I read for pure enjoyment, such as Harry Potter, Twilight, the Protector Of the small series ( my favorite), the Trickster's series!.!. I read every day!. And my interests go in streaks!. Right now I am totally sick of romance and am reading military scene fiction and military fiction (WEB Griffin right now) and just finished a Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child which is more hard boiled than I usually read but I enjoyed it a lot too!. But I am retired and disabled and have time to read more!. When I was working and raising a family I used to just read harlequins to keep my hand in, so to speak and would do two or three or four a week back then!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I try to read at least a little every day, though there are some random times when I can't (if I'm staying over at someone's house or something, for example, I usually won't read that day!.) As far as genres, I'll read pretty much anything!. The one I'm on a streak of now (and one of my favorites) is historical fiction!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only thing that I don't read is mystery or romance!. Or Twilight!. I read constantly!. Everyday, I read a book at some point!. In school, whenver my teachers shut up, I'd whip out a book I was holding under the table!. I even slipped books behind my massive text books in whatever class I could afford to do so in!. Obviously, not in math!. No one reads math books!. I even read a book when there's commercials on the TV!Www@QuestionHome@Com

it seems like I go through spurts!.!.!.!. like where I will read a book or two a week, and then sometimes I dont care to read at all!. For a while I was really into memoirs, especially if the person had a drug problem!. I dont know if that makes me messed up or not!.!.!.!. but right now Im not reading anything!. I currently have Barack Obama's Dreams of my Father but I havent gotten into it at all!. Ive read maybe the first few pages!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When I finish one book I start another within a day or two!. I average two books a week!. My favorite authors are James Patterson, Lee Child and Vince Flynn!. I also like the Relic series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child!. Once every couple of months I'll want a change from the blood and death so I'll read a romance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
