Like everyone else said, it's when you make fun of something!.

For example, if you've seen any of the Scary Movie movies then you'll know that the movie is just a big parody of many other scary movies!. They make fun of them!. People do this on youtube!.com!. My favorite parodies are the ones where they make fun of The Lord of the Rings movies!. Don't get me wrong!. I LOVE the Lord of the Rings but it's funny to watch people make fun of it!. Here's an example of an LOTR parody starring Jack Black and Michelle Gellar:
