I'm really sorry for your loss!. I hope these will help:-
Because I could Not Stop For Death by Emily Dickinson:
Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality!.

We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility!.

We passed the school, where children strove
At recess, in the ring;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun!.

Or rather, be passed us;
The dews grew quivering and chill,
For only gossamer my gown,
My tippet only tulle!.

We paused before house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound!.

Since then 'tis centuries, and yet each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity!.

This one's by Mary Elizabeth Fry:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep!.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow!.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain!.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night!.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room!.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing!.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there!. I do not die

Hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

we used this poem at my mother's funeral!.!.!.!.

I am standing upon the seashore!. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the ocean!. She is an object of beauty and strength!. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other!.

Then someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!”

“Gone where!?”

Gone from my sight!. That is all!.

Her diminished size is in me, not in her!. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!” there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout:

“Here she comes!”

And that is dying!.

Henry Van Dyke
