I still love and read children's books--old and familiar favorites as well as many new ones, aside from all my adult reading!.

Children's books have some of the best creativity, imagination, and purely magical writing in literature, even when the subjects are realistic!.

The Oz books, the Narnia series, Lewis Carroll's Alice stories, the wonderful novels and stories of E!. Nesbit and Edward Eager, Hans Christian Anderson's tales and the collected tales by the Brothers Grimm, Howard Pyle's tales of Pirates, Robin Hood and King Arthur, Mary Travers' books about Mary Poppins, Lucy Boston's stories of Greene Knowe, Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising series, Treasure Island, Pinocchio, The Squire's Tales series by Gerald Morris, The Wind in the Willows and its sequels, James Thurber's The Thirteen Clocks, all are wonderful book journeys I never tire of taking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Whenever I visit my parents' house, I revisit the books they read to me as a child!. Dr!. Seuss always brings back old memories but others like 'The Jungle Book' and 'Black Beauty' are great as well!.

Sadly, however, most of the time I neglect these classics and turn to the 'grown-up' books that I learned to love in college!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
