Question: Persepolis!?

has anyone read the graphic novel "persepolis" buy Marjane satrapi or seen the french film!? what are your comments and opinions on it!? it was my my first book on my summer reading list, i got it toady and im done!. I LOVED I! but thats just me!. what do YOU think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i loved it too! It was a great book, really funny to!. It won an oscar in France, and I felt that it deserved to win one here in the States, but it didnt :(Www@QuestionHome@Com

Haven't seen the film yet but I want to so bad!.!.!.but when you live in West-Central Ohio (aka the "Jesusville/Redneck City Metro Area") it's hard to find a film that involves characters from Iran!. Hell, I even had a roomate from Iran for a couple of weeks and people here STILL look at me funny!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thought it was pretty good!. I love it when summer reading books are short!. Just don't bother with the second one!. It's totally boring, and the political aspect is almost entirely absent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought it was alright!. I had to read it for English class!. The second half of the novel was much better than the first half, which I felt to be rushed and lacking flow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
