Question: My characters are stuck in the wilderness with no way to get food!.!.!. How to they get food!? GAH!!?

So my characters have fled the city, and now they are in the uninhabitable mountains that have no wildlife or edible plants!. HOW DO THEY GET FOOD!? AHHHH!Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Uninhabitable" mountains!? Are you sure!? I think blackberries grow well on mountainsides in the Appalachians, and there should be some wildlife (birds, perhaps) almost anywhere below the snowline, and probably above!.

If you really want it to be lifeless, though, you could try to have an empty building - an off-season ski resort, perhaps - which they could scavenge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess they could find some lichen on the rocks that they could eat (yuck)!. There must be water for them to survive so maybe they could improvise some sort of fishing line & catch fish!. There could be crayfish in the water too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
