I read a book about a guy who gets poisoned while golfing, so he's still alive but he can't move or talk!. Doctors think he's dead, so they start to autopsy him, even though he's still coherant!. It's a horror story and he almost ends up getting his chest cracked when the doctor stops to look at a scar on his thigh!. He gets hard and the doctor realize a dead guy can't have an erection!.

The protagonist has been bitten by a poisonous snake, is paralyzed, and his vital signs aren't registering!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It's called 'Autopsy Room Four' and it is by Stephen King!.
